My name is Andre Pedreira. I studied Software Engineering for a year and a half at the Catholic University of Salvador before immigrating to Canada as an international student . I am currently enrolled in the Programming and Data Analysis program at George Brown College, where I have been studying programming and database languages. I have three years of professional experience at Icatu Brasil, where I worked on various projects involving the creation and updating of Power BI dashboards , collaborating directly with company decision-makers and clients. I also contributed to the development of the company’s mobile application used by field employees , being part of the design and planning team. Additionally, I was responsible for developing background workers to streamline and automate processes for the finance and operations departments. Throughout my time at Icatu, I completed several courses to improve my skills in dashboard creation, programming, and web and application design . I also dedicated time to deepening my knowledge of databases and APIs to enhance the BIs we were developing. Moreover, I participated in major events representing the company, including two occasions where I attended as a developer to provide technical support to sales staff during client meetings that involved complex system-related questions. I was also involved in contract negotiations and worked on customizing Power BI visualizations to meet specific client needs.
Project for visualizing data collected by the company's application in a simplified and dynamic way, focused on the user experience, focusing on easy understanding of the performance of its products at points of sale,
Project to visualize the internal demands of Icatu employees, carried out in collaboration with the leaders and decision-makers of Icatu Brasil, aimed at analyzing the performance of the company's employees, making supervision simpler and allowing each employee to know what they should do and how their performance is evaluated by their direct leader.
A project created during the Animation for Web Development course with CSS, Javascript focused on making smoother, more fluid transitions that attract the customer's attention using color intelligence.
Project using design technologies such as Figma, concepts of modern sales apps, as well as functionalities for registration, login, shopping cart, wish list, promotional codes, tax calculation and tracking API.
